Internet-Marketing Wow. List building. Heavy stuff here. I know it can be overwhelming. But, I have heard over and over again that "the money is is the list". This is entirely TRUE. Frank Kern prefers to say that the relationship is in the list, and I think he’s right on there. So, how do you get a list? Well, you direct your traffic to a squeeze page, and build your list from there. I won’t get into ‘traffic’ right now, because that issue is just too broad. But you know that basics…PPC, web 2.0, etc. Frank Kern(and you know how crazy successful he is) started with a list of only about 7200 people. And he bought the traffic that brought him those opt-ins. Not through PPC, but through CPM mail drops. CPM mail is NOT spam, and is very cost effective. Few people use it, but I have to say that almost anything is better than PPC, in my humble opinion. Here are some resources for CPM The folks on the Warrior Forum(where you should definitely be a member)say that you should ask these people to begin with a small ‘test’ and go from there, and DO negotiate your prices! However you build your list, once you have it, you need to do two things. First, be kind to your list. Send them valuable information and DO NOT blast them with offers every day. They will see through this tactic, and it’ll get you nowhere. What to send? Free reports, recorded webinars, or even just links to cool stuff you like. Keep them entertained, and keep giving them value. And then, every once in a while, try to sell them something. That is, after all, why you have a list in the first place, right? Sell them something great, and something that will make them want to buy from you again. But how do you get them to want to buy that first time? First, from your caring and gracious attitude with them and the relationship you have built. And also, language is VERY important in sales emails. There are several keep points that will make people want to buy, badly. Perry can tell you more about that here. Perry and Ryan Reiss are also some of the best of the best. This product is probably worth buying if you need help with your conversion rates. Frank Kern has a whole video about list building available for free at his site, I suggest you watch it and take notes. I really like Frank’s style, he’s very laid back and self-effacing. So, there it is in a nutshell folks. Definitely do build a list. Definitely treat your list right. And If you follow some of those basic steps, you can see your sales .e right along.
